The objective of this project, Advocating Green Consumption and Promoting Green Procurement designed to collaborate with private enterprises, organizations, stores, volunteers, school and institutions, hotel and lodging industry, wedding houses and catering business etc., is to raise campaign for consuming products and services with Green Mark and living with elegant simplicity. In line with the themes of “Let’s go LOHAS” and “Get discount of going green”, the outcome of implementation is summarized as follows: (1) Holding 3 kick-off meetings for the “Project on taking in green procurement among private enterprises and organizations”. (2) Holding 4 trainings of green consumption instructor, which drew attendee of 490 , issued a total of 429 training certificate, a pass rate of 87.5%. (3) Combined 1,316 green stores, green-mark, green weddings, carbon labeling and religious groups, check the green consumer promotional activities and environmental labeling printed on admission tickets, a total of 130,000 passengers public participation. (4) Apply green living and consumer related activities press conference 5 sessions, the total reported number of articles published in the media up to 140, and advertise to the Commons Daily, issued a total of 432,000 . (5) Counselling wedding industry, tourism and catering industry places by promoting green living and spending, totaling 952 and counseling couples for 30 pairs of green wedding. (6) Combined all EPB handle green living and consumption activities 2,000 screenings, reaching 1,489,000 people participated in.
